This will be the 15th federal election in which I have voted in the forty-seven years I have been eligible.
That would average an election every 3.1 years – but that's not how a parliamentary system works in real life.
On September 18, 2021 at 3:15 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a missing person. Liam MAGGS, 26-years-old, of Tara, was last seen on September 15, 2021.
On September 19, 2021, the missing person was located and spoke with police.
City of Owen Sound will mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as a statutory holiday on September 30, following approval at the City Council meeting held on August 30. City Hall and all offices will be closed, and services will operate on a holiday schedule.

The Owen Sound harbour walls were packed with camping fishers (or maybe fishing campers?) during our most recent Salmon Spectacular.
I think this is great.
But isn't it strange that this is allowed when "no camping" signs went up at the East side boat launch this summer when the boondockers started showing up?

Yesterday's rally and march through downtown Owen Sound could have been mistaken for a last-minute pre-election event, although organizers had made it clear that was not their intention.
