The Ontario government will table a motion on Monday, May 31, that, if passed, would appoint Dr. Kieran Moore as the next Chief Medical Officer of Health for the province of Ontario. Dr. Moore would succeed Dr. David Williams effective June 26, 2021.

"Paid Parking [Sauble Beach] begins on June 1st.
"We have increased our rates at the beach this year for two reasons; we were underpriced in comparison to other beach towns and we have legal fees we would like to recoup. Council feels the cost to defend our Town against legal action brought upon us should not come from SBP taxpayers. We will do our best to recoup Sauble litigation through Sauble parking revenue."

In response to the Provincial direction to allow all individuals 80+ to book their second dose early, and those 12 and older eligible to get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, the Grey Bruce Health Unit will now primarily use the Provincial Booking System for most first vaccine appointments.
