The Bag Ladies are having fun, come out and join us or help us with milk bags.
We save milk bags and make sleeping mats with them.
The mats are made by crocheting, weaving with a frame (we have 3 different sizes. full mat size, half mat or child size and a lap frame), weaving without a frame and crochet.
Every April 28 is a National Day of Mourning in Canada.
This morning in Queens Park in Owen Sound, members of our community gathered to remember and honour those who have died, been injured or suffered illness in the workplace. Hundreds die and thousands are damaged every year in just doing their job.

The official start of the Ontario election campaign is May 9 about noon, but Progressive Conservative Bill Walker is ready to run. His campaign office opened today in Owen Sound, and supporters came to hear Walker speak and pick up their blue "Team Walker" shirts and election signs.
