fire and grace
SweetWater's first Springtime Live concert of the 19th season will be on Thursday, May 19 featuring Fire & Grace (SweetWater Artistic Director, Edwin Huizinga and guitarist William Coulter) in performance at Heartwood Hall in Owen Sound at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7:15 p.m.). Tickets are now on sale.

This is the first live, in-person concert in the spring season since May, 2019. Fire & Grace explores a range of musical genres including classical, folk, and contemporary traditions from around the world. Audiences are treated to a musical smorgasbord… Bach to Vivaldi, tango to Celtic tunes, traditional Bulgarian to American fiddle tunes and waltzes.

Fire & Grace has performed throughout North America and toured New Zealand in 2017. In late 2021, they released their latest recording Alma late last fall. It features folk and baroque works including music from Argentina, Spain, Italy, Germany, and Sweden. The May 19 concert in Owen Sound is one of the few Canadian stops for the duo in 2022.

Tickets $35 (including HST, excluding ticket surcharges) are going fast and are now on sale online and in-person at Heartwood Home (939 2nd Ave East., Owen Sound).
