Downtown Owen Sound will be alive with ArtWalk, a one-day celebration of local art and artists taking place from 10:00 to 4:00 this Saturday, June 25. Eleven venues have collaborated to provide residents and visitors with a walking tour of remarkable exhibitions, demonstrations, art talks, hands-on activities, door prizes, and much more.
In addition, several pre-registered amateur and professional artists will be setting up their easels outdoors
for the day to capture our remarkable downtown, from the beauty of the Sydenham River and many historic older buildings, to the gritty and vibrant commercial reality of the business district. Their works will be exhibited throughout the downtown after ArtWalk, and cash prizes will be awarded.
