The Owen Sound Artists' Co-op is pleased to host the eighth annual Art and Craft Legacy Show for senior students in Grey and Bruce Counties. This exhibit will be showing for the month of April.

Sunday, April 10th, between 2pm and 3pm there will be a ceremony presenting 14 awards to these exceptional students for their 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional art work.

This diverse exhibit allows us to see into the creative minds of our youth, and allows students to show their work in a gallery setting. This is an opportunity to reward students for excellence in arts and crafts andencourage confidence, and a future in the arts.

The Artists' Co-op and artists, Retired Teachers of Ontario, OSSTF, local businesses and eateries have contributed prizes for the students.

Our Co-operative is excited to host this exhibit in our new gallery space. "This year the work clearly indicates that the arts are alive and well in our secondary school students. The work is so diverse and free," Artists' Co-op manger Morag Budgeon states.

The Owen Sound Artists' Co-op is open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 to 5:30 at 942 2nd Avenue East. Information is available on our website at  or contact Morag Budgeon at 519 371-0479 / info@artistscoop.ca
