The City of Owen Sound is once again offering Pop Up Pickleball in the River District.

The Pickleball courts located in the City Hall Parking Lot at 808 2nd Avenue East, will be available for use at no charge. Hours of operation will be Monday-Friday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Washrooms will be available at the Owen Sound Farmers’ Market.

Pickleball will be available beginning August 16 and run until September 4, 2022.

Rackets and balls will be available for those players who do not have their own equipment. Use of the Pickleball courts will be at the discretion of the participants.

Advanced booking will not be available for the courts or equipment.

Parking will not be available in the City Hall parking lot during these times. Participants and visitors to the River District are asked to park at other municipal lots or make use of street parking. On-street complimentary parking is available for up to two hours while municipal lots are five hours.
