Recreational trails at Harrison Park are maintained by the city year-round, providing seasonal access to three kilometres of looped trails through the historical park.

The City maintains three kilometres of looped recreational trails at Harrison Park in the winter to provide accessible opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
Seasonal maintenance occurs as conditions dictate to ensure recreational trails included in the winter maintenance program remain continuously available.
Maintained recreational trails include:
- Harrison Park Freedom Trail
- Harrison Park Island Trails
- Harrison Park Mile Drive
- Harrison Park Campground roads are maintained as trails throughout winter
- Harrison Park Pool Exit Road is maintained as a recreational trail in the winter
- Nine Bends Trail
Trail users seeking maintained recreational trails are encouraged to utilize trails within Harrison Park. Trail users seeking a more natural experience, or opportunities for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, are encouraged to utilize recreational trails throughout the local trail network when conditions allow.
Trail users are encouraged to be prepared to encounter winter conditions on any recreational trail as conditions change between maintenance intervals.
A public washroom at the Harrison Park Inn restaurant is available to trail users year-round.
