youth mental healthThink about all the things you can do in a minute. Just 60 seconds. If you were told that one minute could change a life, give someone a new perspective, or shift their mindset, would you believe it?

The Keystone Youth Advisory will be launching the Grey/Bruce Youth Mental Health Minute Video Contest during Mental Health Week- May 3-9th, 2021. The video contest is open to all Grey and Bruce County youth between the ages 13-18. Videos are to be under one minute in length and will provide a creative platform to share ideas, tips or other aspects that support youth mental health and wellbeing. The concept is centred on the idea that it only takes a minute to make a difference, whether it is reaching out for help, making someone smile or helping someone feel more hopeful- a minute can change a youth’s life.

The Keystone Youth Advisory is challenging all high school youth in Grey/Bruce to share their ideas and tips for mental wellbeing and spread awareness to Youth Mental Health. Submission deadline is June 15th, 2021.

Full contest details and to submit your video- please visit: www.keystonebrucegrey.org/youth-video-contest/

Mental Health week is about raising awareness, decreasing stigma and helping provide our children, youth and families with the supports that they need to thrive. Whether you are showing your support by making a donation, sending a smile, or supporting a friend in need or just spreading awareness about the mental health resources available in Grey/Bruce- a minute can make a difference.
