April 29 is World Astronomy Day.

Come out to the soccer complex in Owen Sound and take a look at the night sky through a telescope. Or rather, a bunch of telescopes!

Several of our local backyard astronomers will have their gear set up Saturday, Apr. 29, starting at 8:00 p.m.

If you have never seen the moon, or a double-star, or a star cluster through a telescope, here's a great opportunity. No cost – all ages welcome.

We will be in Field #1. Use the parking lot on the right, just inside the gate. Some walking on uneven ground is necessary.
