July August Media Release Image 1

Tuesday Tea in the Garden, Ghost Walks, Clay Painting and Teddy Bear Picnics are happening this summer at Billy Bishop Museum.

Put on your fanciest hat and join us for Tuesday Teas in the Garden with sittings at 11am or 2pm. Guests will be entertained with music performed by Rosin Dust String Ensemble while enjoying sandwiches, fresh baked pastries and Billy’s Blend Tea.

Are you ready for some homegrown Murder and Mayhem? Our very popular Ghost Walks are continuing this year on Sundays and Wednesdays with our very own tour guide extraordinaire James Giberson. Participants (ages 12+) will begin at the Museum at 7pm and be guided throughout town while listening to true ghost stories. Don’t forget to come by before the tour starts to purchase your very own Ghost Walk shirt in our gift shop, open Wednesdays until 8pm.

Are you interested in a Teddy Bear Picnic? On July 23rd from 12pm – 3pm, children and their parents can enjoy an afternoon of treats and crafts, and explore the museum together. Don’t forget to bring your teddy bear!

Billy Bishop Museum understands the importance of supporting local businesses, and is partnering with Daisy’s Clay House on July 19th to bring Clay at the Museum. A variety of pottery pieces will be available to choose from, pick your paint colours and start creating your masterpiece.

Looking for a wonderful historical space to host a small gathering? Private Teas are also available throughout the year. Contact Rhonda at rmitchell@billybishop.org for more information and to book your date.

Summer hours will begin July 2 and lasting until Labour Day weekend. Open daily from 10am – 4pm, Wednesday from 10am – 8pm.

Visit billybishopmuseum.org/events to purchase tickets or call 519-371-0031 for more information. Please follow our social media accounts to stay connected and be the first to hear about upcoming events throughout the year.
