The Grey Highlands Public Library Board is searching for a new CEO to lead the Library for years to come, after the current CEO, Jennifer Murley, announced she would be leaving to take on the role of CEO at the Blue Mountains Public Library.
“It is with regret that we announce the resignation of our current CEO, Jennifer Murley, who has led the Library system for the past two years but we will be working together to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of the Library’s programs and services,” says Library Board Chair Stewart Halliday.
The vacancy was posted on Friday, September 22 with the deadline for cover letters and resumes to be submitted to jobs@greyhighlandspubliclibrary.com by Friday, October 13 at 5 pm.

Jennifer will be focusing the next few months on completing ongoing projects, including the Library’s new Strategic Plan, the partial renovation of the Walter Harris Memorial Library in Markdale, and assisting with the Friends of the Flesherton Library’s Annual Harvest Café with author and President of the Law Commission of Canada, Shauna Van Praagh, taking place on Thursday, November 2 at 7 pm at the Flesherton Kinplex.
