May Ip is offering her popular Chinese language class for adults again this winter. There are a few spots left in the small daytime class that starts on Friday, January 6 and ends on March 10; weekly from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
For children aged 8 to 13,  Chinese Heritage & Language program will run Saturdays, from January 14 to March 25, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Liibrary. Register now for this weekly course which will teach students to read and write Chinese, usean abacus, and Chinese calligraphy and brush painting. Learn about Chinese festivals and  celebrations, as well as traditional games, arts and crafts.
This program is run by May Ip in association with the Ministry of Education, the Bluewater District School Board and the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library.
