September 22, 2016, the body of 60-year-old David COUNSELL of Saugeen Shores was recovered.

On September 19, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m. the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a missing kayak operator in the waters of Lake Huron between Chantry Island and the Saugeen Shores beach.

The South Bruce OPP appreciates the assistance of the media and the public with this investigation.
